Our mission is to nurture and foster the growth of the vegan community in Japan, while also connecting with the global vegan movement. As a team, we are dedicated to promoting the benefits of veganism and raising awareness about its positive impact on health, the environment, and animal welfare.

Community & Meetups

Established in 2006, Tokyo Vegan Meetup (TVM) hosts regular vegan-related events that are open to everyone. Our events offer a blend of fun social events, educational talk events, information booths at festivals, leaflet-making and distribution, and social media campaigns.

We are proud to offer all our information in both Japanese and English, and our organizers are passionate volunteers committed to the vegan cause. As of 2023, TVM boasts a membership of approximately 8,900 and continues to grow rapidly.
